Thanks to the compact dimensions of the device, the indoor unit can be installed in the basement or utility room like any other heating device. The device is already equipped with all the necessary components at the factory.

Vitocal 100-S is available in several variants for different requirements - as a heat pump for room heating and drinking water heating (with a separate hot water tank), with an additional cooling function "Active cooling" - for ensuring a pleasant room temperature in the summer months and with a built-in heating/hot water electric heating element.

Energy-saving equipment - adapted for operation with self-generated current. Electrical components work especially energy-saving. A high-efficiency circulation pump for the secondary circuit is standard. In partial load mode, the compressor modulatingly adapts to the current heat consumption and thus maintains the desired temperature for heating or cooling and hot water. In combination with a photovoltaic device, the self-generated current can be used to operate the heat pump. Easily adjustable via the Internet. With the optional WLAN module Vitoconnect 100, the Vitocal 100-S air/water heat pump can be operated via the Internet. With the free ViCare application, many functions, such as temperature regulation, can be conveniently performed via a smartphone.

When retrofitting, the split heat pump is ideal for efficient bivalent operation. In this case, the operation of the existing plant will continue to cover the maximum load at extremely low temperatures.
